We wanted to build a blog engine focused on writing. This engine would help writers write their stories, find distribution, and let readers read them easily in one place.

Everyone in Zemuria Inc. wanted to write. When we explored blog engines to write our stories, we knew about Substack. But we stumbled upon many problems that Substack never solved, which we have set out to.

  1. Early on, they needed to expand the distribution of their writers, for which their top writers relied on Twitter (X).
  2. When Substack tried to create a social media inside Substack that was a copy of Twitter (X) UI/UX, Twitter nuked the existence of Substack’s links and the word itself, thus eviscerating whatever reach they had.
  3. The above situation also meant that those without a following/subscriber base in the Substack could not expand their reach.
  4. Substack does not have a reader feed where we can read exciting new articles and find great ones without subscribing to the entire publication.
  5. The biggest reason is that people want a minimalistic blog engine that points to their domain and is easy to use.

There are also other problems that Substack still needs to solve that everyone wanted, including monetization, blogging standards on SEO, etc.

We are working towards solving them. If you are excited to help us and would want to check out a small blogging engine,
